3-2 Count is a SPARQ Certified Facility

Right View Pro

3-2 Count offers video analysis of baseball/softball player's swing, and pitching motion. Our exclusive video analysis system digitally captures a player's swing, and pitching motion and breaks it down into the 12 fundamental steps. This allows our certified professional instructors to review each swing and identify each specific area the player can improve on to maximize their power of the swing and pitch, and ease of swing and pitching motion.

Hitting- Baseball

An athlete can choose one of their favorite major league players and be placed side by side to compare their swing, and pitching motion with one of their idols, including players like Ichiro, Pujols, Thome, Tejada, Berkman, and David Ortiz. The analysis software adds the advantage of seeing the same swing from all four angles (Pitcher's View, Catcher's View, Front View, and Back View). This enables coaches and players to get a more in depth analysis and understanding of the swing.

It's this type of feedback that makes a difference in the retained learning of the athlete.

  • It shows the player what they are actually doing vs what they think are doing.
  • It shows them where they can improve by matching them up against the best hitters in the game.
  • It provides the definition of the correct mechanics involved in the swing.
  • It allows the players to match their coaches words to particular segments of the swing giving them a clearer understanding of what they should be trying to accomplish.

See the common flaws that prevent players from reaching their full potential
Don't Squish the bug Hitting off the back foot ,or leaving your weight back takes away power and minimizes your possible contact zone.
Don't Swing down on the ball Minimizes the possible contact zone forcing the hitter to have perfect timing.
Don't Stay on your back side (stepping on Ice) The Stride or Positive Move creates energy for the hitter to go into rotation. In the monitor above Tori Hunter is using his 195 pounds to create momentum that he transitions into rotation. Approximately 1/5th of your available energy comes from the positive move.

Softball
Lisa Fernandez, one of the greatest softball pitchers of all time and Kirk Walker head coach of Oregon State have teamed together to produce a dynamic series of lessons to define the principles of Fastpitch pitching. The software includes 47 lessons using 5 models including Alicia Hollowell, Brianne McGowan, Dana Sorensen, Katie Burkhart, and Lisa Fernandez.

The key teaching points and the mechanical breakdown go far beyond the pitching style and get right to the root of all great pitchers. Fastpitch pitching revolves around these three measures: Power, Control, and Deception. Kirk and Lisa explain how every pitcher can maximize their skill in each of these 3 measures.

Now you can see and compare yourself with the best softball pitchers in the country: Jenny Finch, Amanda Freed, Amy Harre, Danielle Henderson, Jamie Southern, Jodie Cox, Lauren Bay, Lindsay Choinard, Peaches James, and Brandee McArthur. See 10 of the top professional Fastpitch pitchers from the NPF throwing Fastballs, Screwballs, Rise balls, Curves, Changes, and Drops.
