The Rosenberg Family…. Over the past several years, the Rosenberg's have shared their home as a host family for the Philadelphia Phillies' Minor League affiliate, the Lakewood Blue Claws. In the first year, the Rosenberg's opened their home to 2 players, and over the years have provided homes for a total of 21 players housing up to 4 players at one time. As the bonds of family living have lasted through the years, expect to see former and current Phillies/Blueclaws training, instructing specialty camps, or teaching in the facility throughout the year and off-season.

Teaching Philosophy:
Small adjustments are the key to improving your swing/fielding/throwing while allowing you to still be comfortable with what you are doing.
Try to help the player understand why the adjustments are necessary in succeeding at their level of baseball, and to make sure they can feel the change, so they are able to correct it themselves in the future.

Rich Streilein, Baseball and Softball Instructor
Coach Rich Streilein is the former owner/operator of the StrikeZone training center in Belmar and Ocean Twp. Coach Rich has been training pitchers and hitters for a dozen years and is proud that hundreds of former clients have gone on to play on all collegiate levels.
Coach Rich's daughter Kate was a 2007 collegiate All American as a pitcher and hitter. Fast Pitch Softball Pitchers will progress fast and with the most solid mechanical fundamentals. Coach Rich is in every pitch during the instruction and sends each player away with a clear understanding of what they need to pay specific attention too during their practice sessions. Under Coach Rich's instruction pitchers learn to throw with power, command, and with a full arsenal pitches. They are also taught pitch selection and game strategy!
Coach Rich's hitting instruction is also based in mechanical fundamental's and each session is complete with skill building drills that will promote positive Muscle memory so the hitter can react without thinking under game situations. As the hitter progresses Coach Rich will throw the pitches the hitters will need to see out of hand and also use equipment to challenge the hitter in all areas of the Strike-zone, complete with movement and change of speeds. These sessions provide hitter with dozens of supervised "game like" at bat's that are essential for growth as a hitter.
Coach Rich's is a coach with the Varsity Brick Memorial Mustangs and has coached the 18U RKE Jaxx travel softball team since the teams formation in 2001.
